商品説明
This is a "Seamaster Chronometer," which is a high-grade model of the vintage Seamaster.
It features a large "jumbo" case (36.4mm in diameter), which is larger than the typical Seamaster cases of the same period (approx. 34mm–35mm), giving it an overwhelming presence while remaining very comfortable on the wrist.
The silver dial features a refined and sophisticated design, combining a matte finish with fine granular texture and a glossy finish, complemented by applied bar indices and three hands. It is a stunning dial maintained in excellent condition, with almost no visible stains or degradation due to aging.
At the 12 o'clock position on the dial, it bears the inscription "CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED," a testament to its certification by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (C.O.S.C.).
It is powered by the Caliber 564, the final and pinnacle model of the 500 series that supported Omega's golden age of automatic movements.
Equipped with a chronometer-certified movement—also featured in high-end "Constellation" models—it carries the unmistakable air of a luxury timepiece, with its signature red-gold plating kept in highly lustrous condition.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled. Both manual winding and date adjustment are very smooth.
The crystal is a clear, genuine Omega crystal with the Ω watermark in the center, beautifully protecting the pristine dial just as it was when originally manufactured.
The strap has been replaced with a brand new one (HIRSCH Osiris), so you can enjoy wearing it comfortably from the day it arrives.
The Ω mark remains clearly visible on the crown. The case back is a screw-back type, and the Seahorse logo in the center is in excellent condition with sharp edges.
While the case shows minor scratches consistent with its age, there are no deep gouges or significant dents that would detract from its overall aesthetic, keeping it in excellent condition considering its manufacturing year.
As this is a vintage watch, it is not waterproof. Please avoid wearing it on rainy days, during the rainy season, or in summer.
Additionally, please be careful to avoid impacts and magnetism (from smartphones, PCs, bag magnets, etc.).
Operation Guide
How to pull the crown: From the back, insert a fingernail between the case and the crown to gently pull it out.
Since the crown is recessed into the case, you should operate it by inserting a fingernail from the back.
To reach the first position, push your fingernail between the case and the crown (using a lever-like motion).
To reach the second position, use your fingernail to lever the crown further.
To prevent bending the crown, always remove the watch from your wrist before operation. Handling it gently will reduce stress on the crown.
Manual winding: Rotate upwards in the normal crown position.
Time setting: Rotate downwards in the first pulled position (the second hand does not stop).
Date quick-set: Pull to the second position.
Pulling the crown to the second position advances the date by one day. To advance multiple days, you can cycle between the second position (pull) and the first position (push) to quick-change the date.
Performing a quick-set operation while the hands are between "9:00 PM and 3:00 AM" can cause malfunctions. We strongly recommend setting the time to around 6:00 before performing the quick-set operation.
