商品説明
This is a 1972 Omega Constellation.
While many Constellation models from this period feature the "Gerald Genta" designed C-line case, this model features a slim, round, non-date case.
It is powered by the slim automatic movement, the "Cal. 712".
It is a high-precision caliber that passed chronometer certification, and it was the thinnest automatic movement in Omega's chronometer watches at the time.
As it is a non-date movement without a date wheel, it is very slim and pairs perfectly with a dress watch style.
While many Cal. 712 models lack a second hand, the Ref. 167.021 is one of the few Cal. 712 models equipped with one.
The vibrant gold-colored case beautifully contrasts with the sunburst-finished silver dial, which emits an elegant luster depending on the angle of the light.
The case width is a compact 33mm.
With a thickness of 9.2mm, it is not only exceptionally thin for an automatic watch, but it is also a masterpiece designed with a screw-back case to ensure water resistance.
(This reflects the performance at the time of manufacture; it is currently not water-resistant.)
This watch is recommended for those looking for an elegant vintage Omega or a slim dress watch that won't catch on your suit or shirt cuffs.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled.
The strap has been replaced with a brand-new CASSIS genuine leather strap, so you can wear it with comfort.
The buckle is an aftermarket part.
The crown is an original Omega piece and features the Ω logo.
While there is some minor wear and scuffing due to age, operation remains smooth.
The crystal has been polished.
Some faint, small scratches that could not be fully removed during polishing remain visible depending on the angle of the light, but dial visibility is excellent.
The dial has some small scratches in the center but remains in relatively clean condition.
The observatory medallion on the case back is in excellent condition with no noticeable scratches.
As this is a vintage watch, it is not water-resistant. Do not wear it in environments with high moisture (such as on rainy days, while washing your face, or on hot, sweaty days).
Additionally, as it is a precision instrument, please be very careful to avoid strong impacts such as dropping it, as well as exposure to magnetism (from smartphones, PCs, speakers, bag magnets, etc.).
Operating Instructions
How to pull the crown: Insert your fingernail between the case and the crown and gently pull it out.
To prevent bending the crown, please remove the watch from your wrist before operation.
Operating it gently will reduce stress on the crown.
Manual winding: With the crown in the normal position, rotate it upwards.
Setting the time: Pull out the crown and rotate it downwards.
The second hand does not stop.
