This "Longines Spirit" is a modern re-edition that follows the design of a historic cushion-case model crafted by Longines in the 1920s.
With a white dial featuring three-dimensional Arabic numerals that exude a classical atmosphere, paired with charming cobra-style and blue hands, it boasts a finish that excels in both legibility and design.
The softly curved cushion case, with a diameter of approximately 36mm and a thickness of about 9mm, fits very comfortably and offers an exquisite size that settles perfectly on the Japanese wrist.
The case back is engraved with the Longines symbol, the "winged hourglass," and the "EFCo" logo—the initials of founder Ernest Francillon.
It is powered by the "Cal. L619.2" movement, which is based on the legendary thin automatic ETA 2892A2. It features a date quick-set function, a hacking (second hand stop) function, and a manual winding function.
The watch is fitted with a brand-new genuine leather strap by CASSIS (Mules/Brown) and paired with an original Longines tang buckle.
With its vintage-inspired design, this timepiece is versatile enough for both casual and business wear, fitting neatly under a shirt cuff.
Condition
This watch has undergone a complete overhaul.
The case has been polished, but minor scratches remain that could not be removed, along with a scratch on the 5 o'clock side. These do not compromise the integrity of the case form.
There is an extremely faint, fine scuff on the crystal near the 4 to 5 o'clock position, visible only at certain angles and light conditions; it is barely noticeable to the naked eye and does not affect visibility.
The dial and hands remain in excellent condition.
This model is designed more as a dress watch, following a thin and elegant case construction, and was not originally intended for high water resistance (3 bar when new). Additionally, as this is a USED item, there is no water resistance guarantee.
Please be careful around water, in rainy weather, and avoid excessive exposure to sweat.
Furthermore, as mechanical watches are precision instruments with delicate structures, please use it with care to avoid strong shocks and magnetic fields.
How to Operate
Manual Winding: Rotate clockwise while the crown is in the normal position.
Time Setting: Pull the crown out to the second click and rotate counter-clockwise.
Date Quick-set: Pull the crown out to the first click and rotate counter-clockwise.
