This is an Enicar automatic model, the "Supertest 300," from the 1960s.
The Supertest is equipped with the highest-grade movement manufactured by the company, a model that passed strict in-house accuracy tests during manufacturing.
Although it did not undergo inspection by a chronometer testing institute and therefore does not have formal chronometer certification, it was Enicar's unique chronometer-grade movement.
Upon release, each watch came with a certificate stating its test results.
The case features a classic design with a gold-plated finish.
The screw-down case back is engraved with Enicar's water-resistant case patent number "314962."
The movement is an in-house AR1125.
The entire movement is red gold-plated, exuding the elegance of a high-end timepiece.
Recommended for those seeking a rare model.
How to Operate
Manual winding: Rotate the crown upwards in its standard position.
How to pull out the crown: Gently pull out the crown by inserting a fingernail between the case and the crown.
Pulling the crown too forcefully may cause it to come off. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent the crown from bending, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating.
Gentle operation reduces stress on the crown.
Time setting: Pull the crown out one click and rotate it downwards.
If the minute hand moves when pushing the crown back in, push the crown slowly and perpendicularly.
Quick date advance: Cycle between 7:50 PM and 12:00 AM during time setting.
1) Move the hands to 12:00 AM (24:00).
If the date changes, it's 12:00 AM. If it doesn't, it's 12:00 PM.
2) Move the hands to 24:00 to display the next date. Then, move the hands back to 7:50 PM.
3) Advance the hands to 24:00.
Confirm that the date has advanced by one day.
Repeat this process to advance the date one day at a time.
Operate slowly to reduce stress on the movement.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled by our store.
The rotor noise is loud.
Manual winding operation is somewhat stiff.
The strap has been replaced with a new one (CASSIS brand), making it ready for enjoyable use.
The case has minor scratches and some plating loss on the lug tips.
The dial shows overall signs of age and dirt, enhancing the antique watch atmosphere.
The crystal has minor scratches that couldn't be removed with polishing, but the dial remains clearly legible.
Due to its old age, it is not water-resistant.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy days or hot days.
Please also be careful of impacts and magnetism.
