商品説明
This is a limited edition of 850 pieces of Revue Thommen's hand-wound alarm watch, the "Cricket."
The "Cricket" series is famous as a model cherished by successive U.S. presidents (such as the 34th President, Dwight D. Eisenhower).
Its alarm sound resembles the "chirping of a cricket," hence its nickname "Cricket (English name)," making it an interesting and talked-about model.
The dial is covered with a linear geometric pattern.
This pattern, also used in the Cricket series, emits an elegant shine.
The movement installed is the "Caliber AS1930."
There are two mainsprings: one for the "alarm" and one for "timekeeping."
For the alarm function, the case back has a double-layer structure to enhance the acoustic effect.
The sound is produced by a vibrating hammer striking the "protrusion" on the case back.
Enjoy the resounding alarm sound.
How to operate Caliber AS1930
Winding the mainspring for timekeeping: Rotate the crown at 4 o'clock upwards from its normal position.
Setting the time: Pull the crown at 4 o'clock and rotate downwards.
If you rotate upwards, the hour hand and alarm hand will overlap and move together.
Quick-setting the date: Pull the crown and move the hands back and forth between "9:30 PM and 12:10 AM" to set the time.
1) Move the hands to 12:10 AM (0:10).
If the date changes, it is 12 AM. If it does not change, it is 12 PM.
2) Once you confirm the date has changed, move the hands back to 9:30 PM.
This prepares the calendar to display the next day.
3) Advance the hands to 12:10 AM.
Confirm that the date has advanced by one day.
By repeating steps 1) to 3), you can quick-set the date one day at a time.
Please operate slowly to reduce the burden on the movement.
Winding the mainspring for the alarm: Rotate the crown at 2 o'clock upwards from its normal position.
Setting the alarm time: Pull the crown at 2 o'clock and rotate downwards.
The inner alarm hand on the dial will rotate to the left.
Align the hand with the desired alarm time, then push in the crown to complete the alarm time setting.
Turning the alarm ON: Pull out the crown at 2 o'clock.
Turning the alarm OFF: Return the crown at 2 o'clock to its normal position.
