This is a 1964 Seiko Crown Special 14K gold-filled model.
The Crown Special is a high-end timepiece released as a minor update to the first Grand Seiko model.
At the time, the Grand Seiko First was priced at 25,000 yen, while the gold-filled Crown Special was 10,000 yen.
Although there are differences in design and movement specifications, it can be considered a model with an excellent balance between product grade and retail price.
The dial features a vertical hairline finish, which creates beautiful shadows depending on the angle of the light.
It features bold dauphine hands that provide a strong presence.
The case is 14K gold-filled with a diameter of 36.6mm, which was considered slightly large for that era.
It is equipped with the Cal. 341 movement.
Compared to the Grand Seiko First, the movement finish and type of regulator differ, but it is equipped with a hacking (stop-second) function.

Condition
This item has been overhauled and polished by our shop.
The crystal has some light scratches and fine lines that could not be polished out, but dial visibility remains good.
The strap has been replaced with a new (genuine) leather strap, so you can wear it with comfort.
The crown does not have an 'S' mark, and shows no signs of wear or plating loss.
Crown operation is smooth.
The dial shows some aging, small stains, and light scratches.
Due to its age, this watch is not waterproof.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days.
Also, please be careful to protect it from shocks and magnetism.
