商品説明
This is a high-grade Omega model, the Constellation C-Line.
This particular piece features a beautiful coin-edge bezel crafted from yellow gold and a silk-patterned dial.
The C-Line refers to a case design by the legendary watch designer Gérald Genta.
It is also famous as one of his greatest masterpieces.
The case is characterized by its beautiful, flowing design where the case and lugs are seamlessly integrated, maintaining a modern impression even nearly half a century later.
The CD168.027 features a CAP GOLD case.
A very thick layer of gold is bonded over a stainless steel case.
Cap Gold is a specification seen in high-end luxury items up until the 1960s.
It is characterized by having a thicker gold layer than standard gold plating or gold-filled methods.
The case back is made of stainless steel with a screw-back design.
It features the observatory emblem, the symbol of the Constellation.
As Constellation models with a gold-colored observatory logo are relatively rare, this piece feels truly special. The crown is engraved with the "Ω" mark on its face.
The dial features a diagonal silk pattern with a polished finish, creating a beautiful sheen that changes depending on the angle of the light.
At the 12 o'clock position on the dial, it bears the inscription 'CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED', proof of its certification by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (C.O.S.C.).
At the 6 o'clock position, the Constellation's symbolic star emblem is applied, providing an accent to the dial design.
It is powered by the Caliber 564 movement.
As a chronometer-certified caliber, it was only used in high-end models within the lineup at the time.
The movement bears the engraving 'ADJUSTED FIVE (5) POSITIONS AND TEMPERATURE,' indicating it has been adjusted for five positions and temperature variations.
The entire movement is finished in red gold plating, exuding the prestige expected of a high-end machine.
Highly recommended for those looking for an elegant vintage Omega.
How to operate the Caliber 564
How to pull the crown: Insert your fingernail between the case and the crown, and pull it out gently.
Pulling the crown with excessive force may cause it to come off. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent the crown stem from bending, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Operating it gently will reduce the burden on the crown.
Manual winding: Rotate upwards in the crown's normal position.
Setting the time: Pull the crown out to the second position and rotate downwards.
Date quick-set: Pull the crown out to the third position.
To advance the date continuously, you can repeatedly move the crown between the second and third positions.
Operating the quick-set date while the hands are between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM will cause a malfunction.
We recommend setting the time to around 6 o'clock before performing the quick-set adjustment.
