This is a manual-wind IWC model from 1973.
The dial has a glossy finish and has aged overall to an off-white color.
At the 12 o'clock position, the dial features the script "International Watch Co." logo, which evokes a vintage feel.
The indices are Arabic numerals, and the black hands offer excellent visibility.
It is equipped with the manual-wind "Cal. 403" movement.
Compared to previous movements, the "Cal. 403" was slimmed down to approximately 3.15mm and features the large, segmented bridges typical of IWC's refined aesthetic.
The crown is 4.6mm in diameter, making it easy to grip and operate.
It remains in beautiful condition without much of the edge wear often seen on crowns of manual-wind models.
The Ref. 2407 is an integrated mesh bracelet model, which was priced 20% higher than the leather strap Ref. 2403 (1419) at the time.
Well-preserved examples are rare, making this a highly valuable piece.
While thin antique watches lack water resistance, they have the advantage of not snagging on shirt cuffs when worn.

Operating Instructions
Manual Winding: Turn the crown upward while in the normal position.
Pulling the Crown: Gently pull the crown out by inserting your fingernail between the case and the crown.
Pulling the crown too hard may cause it to come out; please pull it gently.
To prevent bending the crown, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Operating it gently will reduce stress on the crown.
Setting the Time: Pull out the crown and turn it upward.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been polished.
There are light scratches on the crystal, but dial visibility is good.
The original mesh bracelet features a free-adjust mechanism.
Insert the 6 o'clock side of the bracelet into the buckle and close the buckle to lock it.
Until you are accustomed to wearing it, please perform this over a desk to avoid dropping the watch.
As it is delicate, we recommend wearing it with a little slack around the wrist.
Due to its age, this watch is not water-resistant.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days.
Also, be careful to avoid shocks and magnetic fields.
