商品説明
This is a 1966 IWC automatic model.
This particular piece features dual branding by IWC and TURLER.
The TURLER signature is printed on the dial at the 12 o'clock position.
TURLER is a renowned Swiss high-end jeweler known for commissioning special orders.
The dial has aged to a lustrous champagne gold color.
The indices are applied bars, and the black paint on the indices and hands ensures excellent legibility.
The "International Watch Co." signature in script at the 12 o'clock position gives the watch a classic vintage atmosphere.
The case is round, featuring a beautiful form with slender lugs.
The crown is original IWC and features the "fish" mark.
It is powered by the Pellaton-style automatic
Cal. 8541 movement.
Compared to the previous Cal. 8531, it is thinner and includes a date quick-set function (by oscillating between 0:00 and 23:45) and manual winding capability, making it highly practical.
How to operate the Cal. 8541
How to pull the crown: Insert a fingernail between the case and the crown and use a levering motion.
When pulling the crown, it is easiest to insert your fingernail between the crown and the case from the back.
Please remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Handling it gently reduces stress on the crown and prevents it from being pulled out entirely.
Manual winding: With the crown in the normal position, rotate it upwards.
Setting the time: Pull the crown out and rotate it upwards.
The second hand does not stop.
Date quick-set: Pull the crown out and oscillate between '11:45 PM and 12:00 AM' to set the time.
1) Advance the hands until the date changes, confirming it is midnight (if the date does not change, it is noon).
2) Once the date has changed, move the hands back to 11:45 PM.
This prepares the mechanism to advance to the next day's date.
3) Advance the hands to midnight again.
Confirm that the date has advanced by one day.
Repeat steps 1 through 3 to advance the date one day at a time.
Please operate slowly to reduce stress on the movement.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been refinished.
While there are light scratches on the crystal that could not be polished out, the dial remains clearly legible.
The strap has been replaced with a brand new one from Morellato, so you can wear it with comfort.
Crown operation is smooth.
Due to its age, this watch is not waterproof.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days.
Also, please be careful to protect it from shocks and magnetism.
