商品説明
This is the 'Seamaster Chronometer,' a premium model among vintage Seamasters.
Compared to the Seamaster '168.024' (34.8mm diameter) from the same period, it features a larger case (36.5mm diameter), giving it a commanding presence.
The silver dial features a matte 'satin' finish with fine granular texture contrasted by polished accents, creating a refined and sophisticated design with applied baton indices and three hands.
On the 12 o'clock side of the dial, there is the inscription 'CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED,' proof of chronometer certification by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (C.O.S.C.).
It is powered by the 'Caliber 751' movement.
It houses a chronometer-certified movement, which was also used in the high-end 'Constellation' models.
It features the signature Omega red-gold plating, exuding the elegance expected of a luxury timepiece.
Operation
How to pull the crown: Insert a fingernail between the case and the crown from the back side and pull gently.
The crown is recessed into the case, so you must insert your nail from the back to operate it.
To pull to the first position, push your nail between the case and the crown (using a lever motion).
To pull to the second position, use your nail to leverage the crown further.
To prevent bending the crown, please remove the watch from your wrist before operation.
Operating it gently will reduce strain on the crown.
Manual winding: Rotate upwards in the standard crown position.
Time setting: Pull the crown to the first position and rotate downwards.
The second hand does not stop.
Quick-set date: Pull the crown to the second position.
To advance the date continuously, move the crown back and forth between the second and first positions.
Performing a quick-set operation while the watch indicates between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM may cause damage.
We recommend moving the hands to around 6:00 before using the quick-set function.
Quick-set day: None
There is no quick-set for the day, so please set it by advancing the hour hand through two full rotations (24 hours).
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been refinished.
There are minor scratches on the crystal that could not be removed by polishing, but dial visibility remains excellent.
The strap has been replaced with a new CASSIS band, making it comfortable to wear immediately.
The crown features the Ω mark.
The case back is a screw-back type, and the Seahorse logo remains clearly visible.
There is some dullness and spotting on the dial and hands.
While there are minor scratches on the case and bezel, there are no conspicuous marks, and it is in beautiful condition considering its age.
Due to its age, this watch is not waterproof.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days.
Also, please be careful to avoid impacts and magnetic fields.
