This is a Seiko Crown Special 14K gold-filled model from 1963.
The Crown Special was a high-end model released as a minor change to the Grand Seiko First Model.
At the time, the price of the Grand Seiko First was 25,000 yen, and the gold-filled Crown Special (case back) was 10,000 yen.
While there are differences in design and movement specifications, it can be said to be a model with an excellent balance between product grade and sales price.
The dial features a vertical hairline finish, creating beautiful shading depending on the angle of the light.
It is a high-end specification called a "SD dial," where the indexes are made of solid 18K or 14K gold.
The sun-like mark at the 6 o'clock position signifies an SD dial, and its elegant luster remains intact.
The hands are powerful dolphin hands, giving them a strong presence.
The case and case back are 14K gold-filled.
It is equipped with the Cal.341 movement.
Compared to the Grand Seiko First, the movement's finish and regulator types differ, but it also features a hacking seconds function.

Condition
This watch has been overhauled and its exterior polished.
The crystal has minor scratches and linear scratches that could not be removed by polishing, but the dial visibility is good.
The strap has been replaced with new cowhide (genuine product), allowing for comfortable use.
The crown has an "S" mark.
Crown operation is smooth.
The dial has some sunburn, minor scratches, dirt, and a bump near the 5 o'clock index.
There is a chip on the edge of the case back.
Due to its age, it is not waterproof.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days.
