商品説明
King Seiko is positioned at the top of Seiko's lineup, alongside the high-end Grand Seiko.
This is a third-generation King Seiko, the 56KS, which is equipped with a high-beat 56-series movement.
The dial features a rare, genuine blue gradient dial. Its charm lies in the 1970s design, which allows you to enjoy vibrant color changes depending on the angle of the light.
The case is a one-piece case with an integrated case back, offering high airtightness and robustness.
Compared to the standard 56 King Seiko model, '5626-7000', this '5626-7110' has sharper edges and a smarter form with more tapered lugs.
The crown is engraved with 'KS', exclusive to King Seiko.
This is a recommended piece for those who want to enjoy the "deep blue" unique to antique watches with a reliable high-beat movement.
Condition
This watch has completed overhaul.
Exterior:
The case shows dents and signs of use commensurate with its age, and a slight tilt (bend) in the crown. However, there is no impediment to the original edges or texture of the case, or the operation of the KS crown. The case back engraving, characteristic of one-piece cases, remains clear.
Dial/Glass:
A slight bulge (protrusion) caused by the dial feet is visible on the outer edge of the dial at the 6 o'clock position, but it does not impair visibility with the naked eye. The gradation colors are beautifully preserved.
The glass is clear with no noticeable scratches.
Strap:
The watch has been fitted with a new (Seiko-made) cowhide strap. It pairs well with the blue dial, ensuring a pleasant experience from the moment you receive it.
As this is an old watch, it is not waterproof. Use in humid environments (rainy days, washing face, wearing on hot days when sweating, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
As it is a precision instrument, please be careful of drops, strong impacts, and exposure to magnetism (smartphones, PCs, magnets in bags, etc.).
How to Operate
Manual winding: Turn the crown upwards in the normal position
Time adjustment: Pull the crown out two clicks and turn it downwards
It has a hack function that stops the second hand when the crown is pulled out two clicks.
Quick date adjustment: Pull the crown out one click and turn it downwards
Quick day adjustment: Pull the crown out one click and turn it upwards (English and Japanese selectable)
Operating the quick adjustment when the watch is between '9 PM and 3 AM' may cause damage.
For quick adjustment, it is recommended to set the time to around 6 AM/PM first for safety.
