商品説明

This is a 1966 Omega ladies' watch, the "Ladymatic."
The case is crafted from luxurious 14K SOLID GOLD and features a small round shape measuring just 17.3mm—even smaller than a one-yen coin (20mm). It has a cute and elegant design that sits beautifully on the wrist.
The crystal is a cut glass design that sparkles as it catches the light, combining with the graceful luster of the solid gold to add a glamorous, jewelry-like touch to your wrist.

The dial has aged to a beautiful, warm champagne gold color.
It features a sunburst finish that radiates from the center, creating a highly elegant vintage atmosphere when paired with the beautiful sparkle of the cut glass.

The "Ω" mark at the 12 o'clock position is not printed but is an applied, three-dimensional element, lending a sense of luxury.
The indices are three-dimensional bars, and the hands are gold-toned with black paint, resulting in an excellent design that balances glamor with high visibility.

The most remarkable feature of this watch is that despite its tiny size, it is equipped with an automatic movement (Cal. 660).
The technical prowess of Omega at the time, which managed to condense a sophisticated automatic mechanism into a case measuring just 17.3mm—smaller than a one-yen coin—is truly astonishing. It is a machine renowned as a historic masterpiece for small ladies' automatic watches and is highly practical as it includes a manual-winding function.
The crown is original to Omega (with the Ω mark engraved) and is designed to be easy to operate despite its small size.
When manual winding, it is easiest to sandwich the crown between the side of your index finger and your thumb and slide it.

【Background on the 14K solid gold case】
The inside of this case back bears the hallmark of "ROSS," a prestigious American case maker that supplied cases to high-end Swiss watch manufacturers at the time.
For the American market, Omega would export high-end Swiss movements to the U.S., where they were then housed in these top-tier 14K solid gold cases for sale.
14K gold, which is standard in the U.S., offers the practical advantage of being "harder and significantly more resistant to wear and deformation" compared to 18K gold, which is more common in Japan, making it ideal for daily use. Furthermore, unlike 9K or 10K gold, which contain less than half gold, it has a purity level that is less likely to cause metal allergies, so you can wear it with peace of mind.

Recommended for those seeking a glamorous vintage Omega.

Condition

This watch has been serviced (overhauled).
The exterior has been polished while avoiding excessive abrasion, preserving the soft, warm original form unique to solid gold. While there are a few faint, minor scratches typical of vintage items on the case and case back, there are no large or noticeable dents, and the beautiful luster of the solid gold is well-preserved.
The cut glass is also maintained in a very clean state.

The strap has been replaced with a brand-new genuine alligator leather strap (dark brown, by CASSIS), so you can wear it comfortably.
*This watch has a delicate solid gold case. Pulling it with strong force or fastening it too tightly on your wrist may put significant stress on the "lugs" (the watch feet) that hold the strap, potentially causing deformation. Please handle the watch gently, leaving about one finger's width of space when wearing it.
The buckle is original to Omega and features a gold-plated, three-dimensional logo.

The watch is non-waterproof by design.
Usage in environments with high moisture (such as on rainy days, while washing your face, or on hot, sweaty days) is strictly prohibited.
As it is a precision instrument, please be careful to avoid drops or strong impacts.
Additionally, please keep it away from objects that emit strong magnetic fields, such as smartphones, PCs, or magnets on bag clasps.

Operating Instructions

This watch features an "automatic" mechanism that winds itself through the movement of your arm.
When starting to use the watch while it is stopped, be sure to manually wind it and move it slightly before putting it on your wrist. (Simply wearing it may not wind the mainspring enough, which can cause it to stop.)

1. How to manually wind (turning the crown)
With the crown (the knob on the side) pushed all the way in, slowly rotate it upwards (towards the 12 o'clock position).
It is easiest to wind by sandwiching the crown between the side of your index finger and the pad of your thumb, and sliding it upwards.
Before going out, gently wind it about 20 to 30 times before wearing it on your wrist.

2. How to set the time (pulling and turning the crown)
Gently insert a fingernail into the gap between the case and the crown, and pull it out gently to the first click.
Once pulled out, rotate the crown downwards (towards the 6 o'clock position) to advance the hands clockwise until you reach the correct time.
Once set, be sure to push the crown back in firmly to its original position until it "clicks."

*Pulling the crown out with sudden force may cause it to come off. Please always operate it gently.
*To prevent applying excessive force with your fingers and bending the crown, please ensure the watch is removed from your wrist before performing this operation.
