TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Reissue CV2110-0 Automatic, Overhauled, Pre-owned, Complete with box and papers (includes past manufacturer repair statements)

The TAG Heuer CV2110-0 is an "automatic reissue model" announced in 2002 that pays homage to the 1960s manual-winding masterpiece, the Carrera (Ref. 2447). Continuing the legacy of the original 1996 manual-winding reissue series, this piece features an upsized 39mm case, a sapphire crystal, and an automatic movement, making it a neo-vintage masterpiece that achieves a high-level fusion of practicality and classic design. The dial and crown both feature the modern and highly legible "TAG HEUER" logo.

This model exudes a clean and intellectual appeal, characterized by an elegant silver dial accented beautifully by a blue decimal scale along the outer rim. The domed sapphire crystal creates reflections reminiscent of the plastic crystals used in the past, further enhancing the classic three-dimensional look.

At its heart is the Calibre 17 (based on the ETA 2894-2), a celebrated thin automatic chronograph movement. Since it is based on the highly reliable ETA 2892A2, it offers excellent durability and ease of future maintenance, ensuring flawless practicality.

With a case diameter of approximately 39mm (excluding the crown), it is the perfect modern size that fits neatly on the wrist. This piece comes fitted with a clean, new aftermarket black calfskin strap and a genuine TAG Heuer D-buckle. The buckle makes it easy to put on and take off while protecting the strap, significantly improving day-to-day usability.

Condition

This watch has been overhauled. The internal movement maintains excellent precision, and the chronograph functions—start, stop, and reset—along with the hand return all operate normally.

The strap has been replaced with a new aftermarket leather strap (black), so it is ready to be worn comfortably immediately. A genuine TAG Heuer D-buckle is included.

The dial is in excellent condition and remains very clear, with no noticeable scratches or stains.
The hands show slight, minor dulling (discoloration) due to aging, but this is barely visible to the naked eye and does not detract from the superb character of this vintage reissue model.

While the case, bezel, lugs, and case back show light scuffs and scratches from everyday use, there are no significant dents, and it remains in relatively clean condition overall. For a neo-vintage piece over 20 years old, the exterior is in very good condition.

As valuable documentation of its service history, it includes the manufacturer repair statement (with personal information redacted) from the official domestic service center (LVMH Watch & Jewelry Japan) issued in 2013. This is a highly collectible, complete set that also includes the original box, instruction manual, and guarantee card (2002, overseas).

Although this was a waterproof model at the time of its release, there is no waterproof warranty due to the significant time elapsed since its production.

Operation

The crown on this model is not a screw-down type. You can manually wind the watch (rotate upwards) and pull it out to the respective positions as is.

Manual winding: Rotate upwards in the normal crown position (pushed in).

Time setting: Pull the crown out to the second click (outermost position) and rotate downwards.
* Includes a hacking function (second hand stop).

Date quick-set: Pull the crown out to the first click and rotate downwards.
If the watch hands are pointing between 8:00 PM and 4:00 AM, the calendar gear is engaged, and attempting a quick-set may cause a malfunction.
It is strongly recommended to set the time to around 6 o'clock before performing a quick-set.
